MANILA, Philippines — Customs brokers have discovered over 460,000 sacks of sugar in three warehouses in Bukidnon, Malacaang Palace mentioned in a press release on Wednesday.
The Workplace of the President ordered the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to conduct an inspection of the three warehouses owned by Crystal Sugar Milling Inc. in North Poblacion, Bukidnon, “based mostly on intelligence stories that the house owners are allegedly engaged within the hoarding of shares of sugar.”
The customs brokers discovered 466,142 sacks of uncooked sugar within the three warehouses. Of the whole, some 264,000 sacks have been mentioned to have already been offered, though that they had not been taken from the warehouses.
